Crossgrove Pty Ltd (Crossgrove) operates using an Integrated Management System (IMS) which has been designed to integrate all of our systems and processes in to one complete framework. This enables Crossgrove to operate as a cohesive and unified business based on our core objectives.

The development, implementation and timely review of policies are core to the safe and efficient operations of Crossgrove Pty Ltd. Below are some of our current policies. These policies, together, with measurable objectives and targets are reviewed on an annual basis to ensure they remain relevant and suitable to the operations of Crossgrove Pty Ltd.

Safety Policy

The Health and Safety of those who work either directly or indirectly for Crossgrove Pty Ltd is of the utmost importance to Senior Management and it is our ultimate goal to continually improve WHS performance within the business.

Crossgrove Pty Ltd is committed to working to improve its safety system to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses for employees.

In order to achieve this, the following objectives have been established:

-       Communicating this policy to all existing employees and to new employees when they commence with Crossgrove Pty Ltd

-       Complying with all WHS legislation and other requirements which are relevant to Crossgrove Pty Ltd

-       Making our commitment to Health and Safety visible to all interested parties

-       Setting measurable objectives and targets which will be monitored to ensure continual improvement

-       Ensuring adequate and appropriate resources are provided to implement, maintain and improve Crossgrove’s workplace health and safety performance

-       Maintaining and IMS which meets the requirements of AS/NZS 4801:2001.

Reporting

To ensure the relevant and timely reporting of information relating to Crossgrove’s work, health and safety performance, the following process is in place;

-       WHS performance is reported on and discussed at all Management Review Meetings and is captured in Management Review Meeting Minutes.

-       Reporting comprises; incident and system failures, hazard identification, risk assessments, preventative and corrective actions as well as any statutory reporting requirements.

-       Project Managers are accountable for collating all data from their active sites and sending an email to the Director in the first week of each month, pertaining to the previous month’s activities, to inform the Management Review Meeting.

This policy together with the measurable objectives and targets will be reviewed on an annual basis to ensure that it remains relevant and suitable to the operations of Crossgrove Pty Ltd.

Quality Policy

The Key Principles underpinning our Quality Policy are:

-        Individual acceptance of personal accountability and responsibility for consistently delivering agreed services

-        Making every effort to follow all agreed customer requirements and all statutory and regulatory requirements related to the service being offered

-        Continual monitoring and reporting of all agreed service quality and performance indicators

-        Recognition of individuals who demonstrate excellence or innovation in service delivery

Crossgrove is committed to continuous monitoring and reporting of all agreed service quality and performance indicators, as well as maintaining and continuously improving a management system that complies with the requirements of the International Standard ISO 9001:2015

Our quality objectives are to:

-        Consistently and efficiently delivery services to our customers that comply with their specifications and relevant standards

-        Resolve customer, employee and supplier queries promptly and in a friendly manner

-        Give our customers the utmost confidence in our products/services and ability to meet their needs

To achieve these objectives, we shall act to:

-        Ensure high levels of management and staff involvement in all operational aspects

-        Continuously engage all stakeholders in meaningful consultation and communication

-        Measure our performance and use this information for the continual improvement of our services and integrated management system.

Our Quality Policy is applicable to our Directors, all workers and contractors and to any person or organisation that represents us as well as all suppliers in the conduct of their activities for and on our behalf.

This policy together with the measurable objectives and targets will be reviewed on an annual basis to ensure that it remains relevant and suitable to the operations of Crossgrove Pty Ltd.

Environment Policy

Crossgrove Pty Ltd is committed to reducing the impact of its operations on the environment. This includes the prevention of pollution (noise, land, water, air) as well as environmental commitments specific to Crossgrove’s operations such as waste minimisation, flora and fauna protection and waterway protection.

We acknowledge that as a civil construction organisation we can minimise the negative impact on the environment in many small ways as well as be a role model for responsible and sustainable environmental behaviour of our staff and suppliers.

The Key Principles and Actions underpinning our Environmental Management Policy are:

-       Take environmental issues seriously at a Senior Management level

-       Develop and support small-scale environmental improvement plans at sites wherever possible

-       Consulting with employees and suppliers to ensure that environmental impacts on sites are understood and addressed effectively.

We maintain and continuously improve an IMS that complies with the requirements of the ISO 14001:2015 and all Environmental legislation and other requirements which are relevant to Crossgrove Pty Ltd.

Our environmental objectives are to:

-       Minimise environmental impact to land, water, air, flora and fauna

-       Protect the environment, preserves natural resources and conserves all heritages

To achieve these objectives, we shall act to:

-       Ensure high levels of management and staff involvement in achieving stated objectives

-       Continuously engage all stakeholders in meaningful consultation and communication

-       Use suppliers, wherever possible, who have similar environmental objectives as ourselves and give preference to environmentally friendly products and equipment

-       Always weigh the environmental benefits of a product equally with its price and safety benefits

-       Measure our performance and use this information for the continual improvement of our services and IMS

Crossgrove Pty Ltd’s Environmental Management Policy is applicable to our Directors and employees. It expresses out ongoing commitment to understand, abide by and regularly review these Key Principles and Actions.
